Design and Development of UAVs using a Multi Physics Simulation Platform

July 28 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

In the age of rapidly developing technological innovations, the demand for complex integrated systems has grown manifold. The demand for sophisticated drone systems too has grown exponentially in the past decade. Traditional design and development approaches are time-consuming and inefficient.

For complex systems such as drones, it is the need of the hour to utilize evolved design approaches such as multidisciplinary simulation, accelerate the deployment efficiency, reduce costs, efforts and meet the regulatory standards early on in the whole process.

Previously, simulation technologies were primarily thought of as validation tools, used to verify the performance of components and systems. Today, it is a driver of innovation, allowing engineers to propose optimised design solutions that exhibit the best compromise of multiple engineering functions and constraints.

To accelerate the adoption of such optimised design approaches, the Drone Federation of India in association with Altair is organising a webinar that will focus on “Design and Development of UAVs using a Multi-Physics Simulation Platform”.

In this webinar, we shall cover the convergence of multiphysics simulation and AI/ML for drone design and development and an overview of a complete design solution that spans from modeling, analysis, additive manufacturing, data analytics to IoT.

The detailed agenda for this webinar is as follows:

⋄ Introduction to Simulation Driven Design Approach
⋄ Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Approach to Drone Concept Design
⋄ Detailed Structural Design/Analysis for Manufacturing Simulation
⋄ Electronics Systems Design
⋄ Internet of Things / Digital Twin
⋄ Summary and Q&A

Who should attend this?

Engineers working in the Design and CAE groups

Engineers who want to understand the right approach to model-simulate-analyze engineering problems.

Systems design engineers.

AI/ML and IoT engineers

Why should you attend?

To get quick know-how of the subject and the tools/methods.

To know the process of multi-physics simulation
