The Drone Federation of India, convened at the we work premises in Mumbai on the 25th of June 2018. The core committee discussed at length the mission vision and the objectives of the Drone Federation. The DFI, also discussed the current situation of the Drone laws in India and the ways and means by which we could contribute to governing bodies to ensure that we have a robust policy in place which harness is the best in terms of talent and conduciveness to get the best out of the industry in India. Further, the board also discussed how the scope of the DFI could be broadened by way of membership and collaborations. In alignment with the goals of the DFI, the association encourages players in the industry to connect with one another. As the voice of the industry in India we would like to ensure that every last drawn exponent in India is heard. At present, the core committee is comprised by UAV manufacturers, service providers, engineers and industry veterans among others. We hope to see more such entities convene and discuss the health of the industry in India at length. It is the players of the industry who have the best seat in the house and can determine what is best for the growth and expansion of the UAV domain.
